6/2 Summer Sketchbook

Hello Artists,

As we finish up the school year and head into summer this is the good time to create a summer journal. It's a great way to continue to be creative and to help document your summer in an artful way! You can reuse a journal or sketchbook that you already have or create your own with simple materials found around your house like recycled materials, newspapers, cardboard, duct tape, folders and so much more.

Give your journal a personal touch by decorating the cover with images and colors that you enjoy. Below are a few journal prompts to help you get started.

Draw a recipe!

Share something about yourself.

Create sun doodles!

Draw your favorite summer treat!

Make a summer bucket list.

Create a summer themed collage.

Wishing you all a summer filled with so much laughter, joy, creativity and love.

💜
Melissa
