4/21 Art 3-5

Hello Artists, 
This is our last week to work on our Georgia O'Keeffe inspired art. We will be adding the last details using oil pastels. I am really excited to see your finished paintings. Before you get started, let's go on a virtual field trip to a Georgia O'Keeffe art show at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Watch the video below to see some of Georgia's art and personal belongings on display at the museum.




Supplies:
-poppy painting 
-yellow oil pastel

Instructions:
Today we will be finishing our poppy paintings by adding the final details! Watch the video above and then get started adding some color with the oil pastel. You have worked so hard on these Georgia O'Keeffe inspired paintings and I am so excited to see them.

  Hello Artists,  This week we will finish our poppy art inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe. Today we are adding the wonderful details that we would see when we look close up at the flower, just like Georgia would. Take a look at the photos below of Georgia's poppy painting and a real poppy before we get started.  Poppy Instructions   (SafeShare link) Supplies: -flower shape (from last week) -black oil pastel -green construction paper -school glue -scissors -green crayon or marker Instructions: Today we will add the final touches to our poppy art. 5/26 1st and 2nd Grade

  Hello 1st and 2nd Graders, Last week we started our salmon project by painting the cardboard cutouts. Today we will add some final details to complete your artwork.  Salmon pt2 (SafeShare link) Supplies: -cardboard salmon cutout -black and white oil pastel or crayon -school glue -googly eye Instructions: Today you will be adding the last details to your spawning salmon. You can use crayons or oil pastels (from previous lessons) to work today. You should also find a large googly eye in your art kit that you will add using school glue.
