3/17 Art 3rd grade

Hello Artists,

Last week we started our landscapes inspired by James Lavadour. Lavadour is a member of the Walla Walla tribe and  known for creating large panel sets of landscape paintings. This week we will finish our landscape art by adding color!

  • Landscapes are works of art that feature scenes of nature. This includes mountains, lakes, gardens, rivers, and any scenic view. Landscapes can be oil paintings, watercolors, gauche, pastels, or prints of any kind.

Supplies:

-glitter glue landscape outline from last week
-chalk pastels
-paper towel

Instructions:

Today we will be using chalk pastels to add color to our landscapes. Watch the video above before you get started to learn a little more about using pastels. Take your time and do your best work!

I can't wait to see what you create!

💜

Melissa
