2/10 K-2 Art

 

Hello Artists, 

I am so excited to finish our love monster paintings this week. If you used pencil be sure you outline before painting. Let's get started!

Love Monster Painting (SafeShare video link)
Supplies:

-love monster drawing
-red and purple paint (pick up on 2/10)
-paint brush
-water cup

Instructions:

Follow along with me in the video above to paint your love monster. Take your time and do your best work. I am so excited to see your finished paintings. Also, the"Lost Love Monster" posters will be in your art kits that are picked up today. This is an optional part of the art assignment, but a lot of fun. I encourage you to give it a try!

4/21 Art K-2

  Hello Artists,  This week we will finish our poppy art inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe. Today we are adding the wonderful details that we would see when we look close up at the flower, just like Georgia would. Take a look at the photos below of Georgia's poppy painting and a real poppy before we get started.  Poppy Instructions   (SafeShare link) Supplies: -flower shape (from last week) -black oil pastel -green construction paper -school glue -scissors -green crayon or marker Instructions: Today we will add the final touches to our poppy art. 5/26 1st and 2nd Grade

  Hello 1st and 2nd Graders, Last week we started our salmon project by painting the cardboard cutouts. Today we will add some final details to complete your artwork.  Salmon pt2 (SafeShare link) Supplies: -cardboard salmon cutout -black and white oil pastel or crayon -school glue -googly eye Instructions: Today you will be adding the last details to your spawning salmon. You can use crayons or oil pastels (from previous lessons) to work today. You should also find a large googly eye in your art kit that you will add using school glue.
