2/10 Art 3-5

Hello Artists,

This week we will finish up our Pop Art hearts inspired by the amazing contemporary artist, Jim Dine. Before we get started let's go on a virtual tour of Jim Dine's art exhibit at The Jonathan Novak Contemporary Art Museum in Los Angeles, CA. Check out the tour in the video below.

I hope you enjoyed the art exhibit tour. Did you spot all of the hearts? Now let's finish up your own heart artwork that we started last week.

Supplies:

-heart drawings from last week

-coloring option of your choice

Instructions:

Last week you should have completed your drawing and outlined in black. Be sure these steps are done before you get started with the next step. Today you will add color to your drawing. You can use whatever you have available to you for color; markers, crayons, colored pencils, paint or oil pastels. It's up to you. Take your time and color your entire work of art, the heart and background.

I can't wait to see what you create!

💜

Melissa
