10/28 3-5 Art

Hello Artists,

This week we will finish up our pumpkin line drawings by adding some color using watercolor paints.

Watercolor paint is a translucent art medium. Watercolor is basically a colored pigment in a water-soluble binder. The paint dissolves when you add water allowing the pigment to spread with a brush.

Let's get started! Check out the video below for full instructions.

Supplies:

-pumpkin drawing from last week
-watercolor paints and brush
-water cup

Instructions:

Watch the video above and follow along to paint your pumpkin drawing. Remember to wash your brush before changing colors and add color to your entire work of art. Have fun!

This completed assignment is due Friday 10/30. Please share your final art piece in the Flipgrid art gallery using the following link and check out art from other students, as well.

I can't wait to see what you create!
