9/23 3-5 Art

Hello Artists,

This week in art you will use the "About Me" worksheets you worked on last week to help you design a cover for your art folder. You will use these folders this fall to hold any art that you are working on.

To get started watch the demonstration video I made below. You will be following this basic style to start your cover, but it is up to you what you draw in each section of the folder to represent yourself. Think about things that would tell something about who you are, where you are from and what you are interested in.

Supplies:

art folder (in art kit)

pencil

markers, crayons or colored pencils

Instructions:

  1. Add your name to the center of the folder.
  2. Divide your remaining space with lines. They can be straight, zigzag, wavy- any kind of line you want.
  3. Next, fill your spaces with different drawings that represent you. You can draw your favorite food, your family, your favorite place to go. It's up to you. Just be sure your drawings tell something about who you are.
  4. Last thing to do is add some color!
Smile, create and be awesome!
💜
Melissa
